CharlestonHacks hosted HarborHack 2024, October 18th-20th at the College of Charleston's Harbor Walk campus. The event brought together 104 registrants, forming 10 teams and evaluated by 9 esteemed judges. Our first-place team, Alethia, developed a unique dating app aimed at young to middle-aged adults, fostering genuine romantic and platonic connections. Unlike traditional dating apps, Alethia emphasizes authentic relationships over superficial matching. Power Podcast took second place. This innovative platform extracts valuable insights, shared wisdom, and recommendations from long-form audio content, promoting personal growth and transformation through shared knowledge. Finally, honorable mention went to HomeBridge, a service bridging connections for travelers domestically and internationally.
