

Maslows Hierarchy of Needs
Harbor Entrepreneur Center hosted HackOps 2024, Apr 19 – 21, 2024. The event brought together 62 registrants, forming 4 teams and evaluated by 9 esteemed judges. Our first-place team, HarthHaven, create an application that would make it easy for my mother to select the appropriate senior community based on their wants/needs and what's offered. "I learned how to flesh out my ideas into an executable concept that a small-scale team can work on developing. It has been fun and challenging." -Kei Cheng Harvest Initiative took second place. The site would contain an organization dashboard for managers that work directly for the organization to coordinate operations between Host home owners, Volunteers, and Master Gardeners. This structure would place some form of food production on the host's land. The produce generated would be distributed as follows -percentage to the Host -percentage for Volunteers to purchase at a discount. -a majority percentage would be distributed through local food banks. Honorable mention went to Transforming Fitness Communities with Technology, a health and wellness app built with Square Space.
